Watermark Experiences for young paddlers

Watermark Experiences invite you to join us for two days of kayak coaching for young paddlers aged 13-19 and their coaches at the Rivers Source Symposium at the Dart Country Park.

We recognise that young paddlers develop their skills nearly as fast as they are growing! And often it is difficult to keep ahead and push their limits within the club environment.
We would like to offer the opportunity for enthusiastic young white water kayakers and their club coaches to take learning on the river to the next level with some modern and progressive river techniques and tactics led by professional river guides.

We are offering two separate days of whitewater clinics over the weekend.

Day 1 Saturday 26th October 2013
We will focus on a modern and dynamic freeride kayaking on class 3 white water. This will be suitable for young playboaters or river paddlers who want to use more of the river for fun and for coaches of young paddlers who want to learn how to exploit easier rapids to challenge young people without having to step up a grade. All paddlers must be confident on class 2 to 3 white water.

Price £TBC per person1 (Coaches can participate free of charge2)

Day 2 Sunday 27th October 2013
We will step up to the steeper white water and offer young paddlers the chance to paddle the legendary upper dart with their coaches and learn modern creeking tactics in class 4. For the coaches we will focus on the process of guiding and teaching groups on more challenging white water. All paddlers must be confident in class 3 white water AND have a bombproof roll.

Price £TBC per person1 (Coaches can participate free of charge2)
